The Story Behind the Spa.
It all started in 2016 while I was living in Southeast Asia. I didn’t have access to hot water, and washing my hair in the cold became a chore I dreaded. I eventually discovered a small, local salon that offered hair washes paired with incredible scalp massages. I fell in love—not just with the relaxation, but with the transformation of my hair. It was shinier, frizz-free, and felt healthier than ever before.
When I returned to the U.S., I realized there were no head spas in San Diego. The idea took root, but life got busy and I focused on my career. That changed in 2022, when an intense ankle surgery left me unable to wash my own hair. I realized then that I wasn’t the only one who could benefit from a little extra care and professional help.
I officially launched in July 2022 with a simple mission: to help you relax and rediscover the joy of healthy, luscious, shiny hair.
I am currently pursuing my Hair Stylist license to further deepen my expertise. I truly believe that a healthy scalp is the foundation for healthy hair, and I can't wait to share that experience with you.
